Life Skills Associate Director
Sarah is originally from Chardon, located in Northeast Ohio. She graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor’s in Health Science. After relocating to Toledo, Sarah completed her Master’s degree at the University of Toledo in Recreational Therapy and Recreation Administration. She is a certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and has always had a passion for working with children.
Watching her sister strive to be included in community recreation as a child has brought her to her philosophy and career goal that all children should be able to be a part of the community and participate in recreational activities with their peers.
Currently, Sarah lives in Perrysburg with her wonderful husband, son Mason, and dogs, Lucy and Myles. They enjoy kayaking, biking, art and spending time with family and friends.
