Sarah is a Toledo native and started her experiences with the Ability Center as a counselor for Camp Cricket in the summers of 2000 and 2001. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology at The Ohio State University (2004) and her Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant at Owens Community College (2014). Sarah has experience working with various school districts located in the greater Toledo area and Ottawa County and at Sunshine Communities as an occupational therapy assistant. She is an adjunct professor at Owens Community College where she teaches pediatric occupational therapy assistant courses. Additionally, Sarah serves as a board member and Northwest District Co-chair for the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association.
Sarah resides in Toledo with her two sons. Together, they enjoy spending time with family and friends exploring the Glass City and vacationing to National Parks and National Park Sites.
