Nancy became involved with Assistance Dogs when she and her husband Paul wanted to arrange for a therapy dog to be placed at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in memory of Nancy’s father. Juno, a therapy dog from the Assistance Dogs program, lives with Nancy and Paul and works during the week at Hospice. Nancy loved the mission of The Ability Center and became more involved with the development committee and co-chaired a past community campaign. Nancy grew up in the Sylvania area and attended Sylvania Northview, then went to Kent State University for her undergraduate degree. She has become a true Buckeye lover after attending The Ohio State University for her Master’s degree. Nancy and Paul live in the Neapolis area where they love being the “City Slickers” in the country. In her free time, Nancy enjoys golf, tennis, biking, attending sporting events, and traveling.
