Jordan is from South Texas but has called Toledo his home for 15 years. He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when he was 18 and has felt a deep connection to the disability community since then. He has worked as a paraprofessional with Mercy Autism Services, Capable Kids, and St. Benedict Catholic School. He recently graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in Disability Studies and an art minor. Volunteering is important to Jordan, and he loved his time with Hospice and Good Grief of Northwest Ohio. He just helped welcome his newborn son, Teddy, into the world and loves being a dad.
“I feel like everything in my life has prepared me for this new journey. I am right where I am supposed to be.”
