The Ability Center's Advocacy Program is gathering responses for a Disability Needs Survey regarding barriers to independent living for people with disabilities in Ohio. Our continued goal is to reach a wide and diverse group of respondents across the state.
Staff assist private and public partners in their efforts to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other disability rights legislation. Self-advocacy materials and resources on ADA compliance are available for download on our website.
Contact our committed team of certified accessibility inspector/plan examiners to schedule a walkthrough with your business or organization. We inspect properties for accessibility, review plans for new construction, or renovations for accessibility issues.
Work with people with disabilities on grassroots level to influence social change. The Ability Center engages with other disability groups to improve public policy.
