The Ability Center launches Disability Dialog

The Ability Center recently announced the launch of Disability Dialog. Disability Dialog is an awareness and engagement campaign designed to answer the question, “What would it take for the Toledo area to be named the most disability-friendly community in the United States?”

A disability-friendly community matters because doing well becomes an option for everyone. Disability Dialog seeks to gain insight by inviting the wider community into conversation around innovative ideas and meaningful solutions that allow people with disabilities to
thrive—emotionally, physically and socially. During this effort we will also partner with public and private organizations to identify and prioritize solutions across a number of key functional areas. These areas include inclusive and accessible housing, transportation, education, healthcare, employment and more.
