Your privacy is important to us
The Ability Center of Greater Toledo honors each user’s right to privacy. We do not collect unsolicited personal information about the users of our website.
Personal information provided to the Ability Center by users via e-mail or Web forms will only be used to respond to the user’s request.
We do not employ cookies or other methods to monitor user’s usage.
The Ability Center’s Web server automatically maintains access logs that gather small amount of information about usage. These logs include IP address, browser and operating system used, pages viewed, search requests, data submitted via Web forms, or the IP address of the referring Web site. For internal use we may generate reports showing our website activity.
Information collected from the Ability Center’s website is not made available to anyone else except as required by law.
Client Assistance Program
First and foremost, The Ability Center has a commitment to helping people with disabilities reach their goals. If you utilize the Center’s services, our goal is to assist and support you as you work toward independence. As part of our effort to accomplish this, the Center must provide you with access to Ohio’s Client Assistance Program.
In the event that communication breaks down, or you feel your needs, issues and/or concerns aren’t being met, the Center strongly encourage you to contact the Ohio Client Assistance Program (CAP), a program mandated by federal law to advocate for people who are applying for or receiving services from the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (BVR), the Bureau of Services for the Visually Impaired (BSVI), and/or Independent Living Centers throughout Ohio.
