The Ability Center of Defiance is a satellite office of The Ability Center of Greater Toledo. The Ability Center of Defiance serves Defiance, Fulton, and Henry, and Williams Counties; (some services are available to residents of Paulding County).
We provide the following four core services:
• Advocacy
• Independent Living Skills training
• Information and referral
• Peer support
The Ability Center of Defiance also offers a youth leadership group for young people with disabilities, ages 15-22 years old. The group participates in weekly activities during the summer months and monthly activities throughout the school year. The activities are designed to teach independent living skills, availability of community resources, and leadership skills. New members are always invited and welcome.
