Ottawa County Staff
To best serve our eastern counties of Ottawa, Wood (and Sandusky), we have an Outreach Office in Port Clinton. Currently, the office houses two specialists ready to assist with information, advocacy and training issues.
Tory Thompson - Director of Rural Outreach

I am a 2005 graduate of The Ohio State University with a BA in Psychology and minor in Disability Studies. Originally from Oregon, Ohio, I graduated from Clay High School in 2000.
I like to be very involved within my community. I sit on various boards and committees including Leadership Ottawa County Board, President of the Rose Acre Manor Board, Kiwanis Club of Port Clinton, Chair of Ottawa County “No Wrong Door” Committee, and many more.
I am responsible for working directly with consumers and the community to promote inclusion in the rural counties we serve. I love working in a rural setting, and look forward to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities each and every day.
Eryn Bauer – Rural Outreach Coordinator
I graduated from Woodmore High School in 2003. I studied Social Work at Terra Community College. Growing up in a rural community and with a disability, I can take life experiences and apply them into my work.
I am involved in APRIL Youth Steering Committee and The National Rural Youth Assembly. I am also a graduate of Leadership Ottawa County. I am always looking for new opportunities in the community.
I love working in the community where I grew up, it is very laid back and friendly. I have a passion for the youth and have expanded into Wood County as an Inclusion Coordinator. I put life experiences into my work and hopefully with that I can help improve the rural communities for individuals and their families with disabilities.
