Auxiliary to The Ability Center

Auxiliary Focus Statement

Pre-Show Vendors and PatronsThe Auxiliary to The Ability Center of Greater Toledo (ACT) is dedicated to being an ambassador in the community, promoting major fund raisers for the benefit of programs sponsored by ACT. One of the primary programs of ACT is Nursing Home Transitions. As contributors to the Nursing Home Transitions Program, the Auxiliary plays a pivotal role in assisting ACT in moving persons out of nursing homes. The Auxiliary also takes a hands-on approach in securing soft merchandise used in setting up living accommodations. This program, named Bare Necessities provides bedding and towels to these individuals as well. In addition, there is a Scholarship Fund to support students with disabilities in obtaining a college education.
